Q. What's the right powertrain for my business?
A. We have four different powertrains to choose from that are sure to meet your business needs — gas, diesel, hybrid, and electric.
Gas works best if you often drive more than 400 km per day, often tow 5,000 lbs or more, need specific configurations in cab/cargo space, and prioritize the lowest acquisition cost.
Diesel works best if you frequently tow large trailers, carry heavy payloads, and can benefit from diesel’s performance and fuel economy in those conditions.
Diesel is often required to run uplifts like cranes, pumps, and other equipment.
Hybrid works best if you want the benefits of improved fuel economy, Pro Power Onboard, and lower tailpipe emissions with similar towing and hauling capability as gas.
Electric works best if you prioritize potentially lower scheduled maintenance costs and zero tailpipe emissions, and you want the benefits of Pro Power Onboard. Your regular routes are within vehicle range and you have access to public charging on days work takes you farther than usual.
